I've been writing, and specifically writing fiction, pretty much all my life. It's just that other things, notably outdoor photography and writing non-fiction, got there first when it came to earning a living. But I'm putting fiction first now. The Shattered Moon series, especially the first two books, has had a long gestation but it's finally ready to face the world.
